ABOUT US
BORN IN
THE WEST.
Out West, there’s still a belief that the spirit of the cowboys, mountain men, and pioneers hasn’t disappeared—it’s just waiting to be called on.
Alpine Tactical was built for those who feel that. The ones who believe in being prepared, capable, and responsible for themselves and the people around them.
This isn’t just about firearms or tactics—it’s about developing the mindset, discipline, and confidence to operate in the real world.

OUR FOUNDATION
PRINCIPLES THAT
HOLD UNDER
PRESSURE.
Alpine Tactical is grounded in resilience, responsibility, and self-reliance—principles rooted in the same spirit that built the West. We train individuals to think clearly under pressure, act decisively when it counts, and take ownership for themselves, their families, and their communities, because real preparedness is built on mindset as much as skill.
RESPONSIBILITY
Understanding that skill comes with accountability.
DISCIPLINE
Training with intention, focus, and consistency.
RESILIENCE
The ability to adapt, recover, and keep moving forward.
SELF-RELIANCE
Building capable individuals who strengthen others.
EXPERIENCE
YOU CAN'T FAKE
Alpine Tactical is built on real-world experience across multiple disciplines where failure isn’t an option. Our instructors have operated in combat zones, conducted search and rescue missions, and worked in emergency response environments where adaptability, precision, and discipline are essential to survival. That experience is what shapes how we train, and it’s reflected in the backgrounds below.
01
MILITARY DEPLOYMENTS

Owner/Primary Instructor
TIM WEMHANER
USMC INFANTRY VETERAN • NRA PISTOL INSTRUCTOR
Led by an instructor who has operated in combat zones, emergency response environments, and real-world high-pressure scenarios.
USMC Infantry Team Leader with two deployments overseas. After separating honorably, Tim continued pursuing his passion for shooting and tactics by training with some of the top instructors in the field.

He volunteers as training director for his church security team and with the Blaine County Sheriff's Search and Rescue team. This background shapes a training approach centered on responsibility, discipline, and practical application—not just range performance.
"Training is about more than marksmanship—it's about building responsibility, discipline, and the confidence to act when it matters most."
